Support for the Transition Student to Post Secondary Education and Employment

Meet Your Consultant

Erin Brown, M.Ed, CRC holds a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University where she studied psychology and special education. In addition, she has a master’s of education from The Pennsylvania State University in Rehabilitation Counseling. She was previously employed at the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation for 13 years, where she held roles including counselor, supervisor, and most recently Assistant District Administrator. She left the agency in 2023 so that she could be home with her two young children. Erin will utilize her counseling skills and past vocational rehabilitation experience to help you navigate the transition process. Available services include:


Introductory Consultation (90 Minutes) $250*

 Potential topics of the consultation may include:


  • Discussion of employment goals
  • Review of current services received by school district/agencies
  • Review of available agencies client should be connected to
  • Review of potential programs/services client may be interested in
  • Discussion of tangible goals and plans, both in the short term and plans for future years dependent on where they are in the transition/employment process


Additional Sessions (60 Minutes) $150 per session*

Additional sessions can be utilized to further explore topics discussed in introductory session, dependent on need including:


  • Deeper exploration of vocational goals
  • Review of IEP transition goals
  • Assistance with applications to government agencies
  • Assistance with working on soft skills for employment
  • and More


Post Secondary Education Support Package ($2500 for 16 week Semester)*

Do you have a child with a disability who struggles with organization and who could benefit from someone (other than you!) to assist them in organizing their assignments and study schedule for them? Erin will work with your child to come up with a schedule that will look at not only their upcoming assignments and tests but will also help prioritize what they need to be working on. The goal of working with Erin is to help introduce organizational techniques that they can use independently in future semesters or years. 


  • 60 Minute Pre- Semester Introductory Call: Discuss previous accommodations and organizational struggles.
  • 90 Minute Semester Planning Call (To be scheduled once all syllabi are obtained): Review syllabi and work together to create calendar for assignments as well as study schedule.
  • Three 30 Minute Additional Zoom Check-Ins during semester
  • Weekly e-mail detailing upcoming assignments
