Early Autism Assessment

Early Autism Assessment & Virtual Screenings

Autism Answers is a place for parents who are in limbo and feel stuck waiting to move forward until they know more about their child and autism. Our goal is to help families while in early intervention to utilize the supports the best they can with the answers they need. Using ADOS2 Assessment, your 18-36 month old child is evaluated to provide you with an autism answer and educational plan for your early intervention team.

After 30 years in early intervention, I have developed a niche specialty of understanding children with behaviors consistent with autism. As one of the only educators trained on the ADOS2 toddler module I have been busily helping parents capitalize on the 2 year old neuroplasticity (while they are on the very long waiting list for a developmental pediatrician). Being neurodivergent myself, I excel in academics and experience a wild sensory system.

I am dedicated to providing tailored solutions that address the unique needs of your child and family. The range of services extends beyond the initial assessment, ensuring that you have the tools and guidance you need at every step.

My goal is to provide a holistic approach that empowers families, caregivers, and educators alike. My flexible services adapt to your specific requirements. Let's work together to customize a plan that is a good fit for you. I also offer a hotline for parents of toddlers to answer their most common questions including:

Are tantrums a normal part of my toddler's development, or could they be a sign of something more concerning?

How can I encourage my toddler's language skills and vocabulary development?

What are the typical milestones for motor skills like walking, running, and climbing at this age?

How can I help my toddler develop social skills and interact with other children?

Are repetitive behaviors something to be concerned about, or are they just a phase?

What are the signs of autism spectrum disorder in toddlers, and when should I seek professional evaluation?

Are there any red flags to watch out for in terms of my toddler's cognitive development and learning abilities?

Early action is key. Early childhood is when the brain can change the most with the least amount of effort. Schedule a virtual session with me to get your questions answered as early as possible.
