When I started casually helping other Moms address their sleep deprivation shortly after surviving my own, I never envisioned where that would take me. Nine years later, I have worked with the parents of over 1,000 babies, toddlers, and children in the greater Philadelphia area and internationally to tackle sleep issues and potty training. I am in awe of the experience and, to be honest, a little stretched! So many families continue to reach out for support and, while I want to give my all to each of you, I am only one person. So, in celebration of the families I have supported so far along this journey and those of you who still need support, I am thrilled to announce the addition of two new members to the Confident Parenting team and an opportunity to jump start your sleep with a mini consultation.  

Mini consultations are a 60 minute phone or video call to cover your sleep or potty training struggles and goals, gain an understanding of what obstacles are preventing the process from going well and discuss initial steps you can take to clear those obstacles out of the way.

Welcome sleep and potty training consultant Bernadette Samuels to the Confident Parenting team!...


"I am a Mother to 2 small children and has been married to my husband for 5 years. Prior to having my own children I was a professional nanny for over 12 years. Helping parents and children is my life’s passion!  


After a year and a half of being a stay at home mom I set out to find new ways of helping families. A month before my daughter was born I started a baking business called The Baby Baker, making organic lactation cookies. The Baby Baker put me in circles with new moms, business owner moms, and ultimately Confident Parenting’s founder, Erica Desper.  


With my experience and desire to continue helping families, joining her team was a natural fit at just the right time. With Erica's training and support, I am excited to join her team, assisting families through their potty training and sleep solution journey. Helping families navigate the challenges of parenthood brings me great joy and I am honored to be part of Confident Parenting’s amazing network of experts."
